MaineHealth is Hiring an Associate Leadership Development Specialist Near Portland, ME

Summary

  • MaineHealth is looking for an Associate Leadership Development Specialist to join a talented team of professionals responsible for developing leaders across the organization. Through collaborative efforts, this position supports the success of the Leadership Development Department by providing program coordination, data analytics and reporting, and strategic support across all current LD programming. This position reports to the Senior Director of Leadership Development and requires exceptional collaboration skills.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Program Support:

    • Partners with the Engagement LDS to support administration of our annual Employee Experience survey; maintains the Gallup Database with current leader information
    • Manages the administrative and reporting elements of workshop-driven programming, including DiSC and CliftonStrengths, and prepares workshop materials as needed
    • Owns the facilitation program; coordinates and manages internal facilitator pool, including identifying, training, and resourcing classes where internal facilitators are required
    • Manages the enrollment, facilitation and reporting of New Leader Orientation programming
    • Acts as the central point of contact for incoming requests for programming and consultation, monitoring the department email and phone
    • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency across all programs
    • Identifies program needs, and builds programming to support leaders across MaineHealth

    Reporting and Technology:

    • Responsible for all departmental metrics collection and reporting
    • Supports the Engagement LDS with Engagement & Safety Culture survey and results reporting, including but not limited to; participation reporting, preparing system-level and local results reports, custom reporting projects, and more.
    • Maintains the department Intranet, LMS, Infor, Gallup and other technology to ensure accuracy and consistency
    • Responsible for the equipment maintenance and supply needs of the department

    Training Operations Support

    • Provides program facilitation support by maintaining the department class schedule and enrollment processes, providing class materials to participants, generating and updating training records in the LMS, and processing requests for training class information from our care team leaders
    • Available for virtual class facilitation as needed
    • Coordinates the logistics of virtual and in-person training events, including conference room space and materials
    • Prepares Power Point presentations and class materials for all departmental sponsored events

  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • License/Certifications: N/A
    • Experience: 2-5 years of Program Management Support or Training Coordination experience preferred.
    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Exceptional customer service skills, time management abilities and to be highly self-motivated with the ability to drive processes
    • Comfort with group process facilitation methods, practices and techniques
    • Proficient in data analysis, reporting and presentation
    • Demonstrates effective project management skills
    • Takes a systems approach to problem solving, looking at the broadest possible view of an issue or challenge
    • Maintains objectivity and confidentiality
    • Solid judgement and problem solving skills with the ability to deliver effective results and meet deadlines
    • Excellent verbal, written and collaboration skills
