As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Laser Operator and Saw Operator.

Position Overview: As a Laser Operator & Saw Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines and saws to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in both laser cutting and saw operations, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

Laser Operator:

· Set up and operate laser cutting machines to cut, trim, or shape metal workpieces accurately and efficiently.

· Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine cutting requirements and parameters.

· Monitor machine operation, inspect finished parts for quality defects, and make adjustments as necessary to maintain precision and consistency.

· Perform routine maintenance tasks on laser cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.

· Handle and load/unload metal materials onto/from the laser cutting machine, following safety protocols and guidelines.

· Collaborate with team members to prioritize workload, meet production targets, and ensure timely completion of orders.

Saw Operator:

· Operate bandsaws, cold saws, or other cutting equipment to cut metal stock to specified dimensions and tolerances.

· Set up saws, including selecting appropriate blades, adjusting cutting speeds, and positioning material for cutting.

· Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure accurate and efficient cutting.

· Inspect cut pieces for quality defects, such as burrs or uneven edges, and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.

· Perform routine maintenance tasks on saw equipment, such as blade changes and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance.

· Handle and transport metal stock safely and efficiently, using appropriate lifting equipment and following safety procedures.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in metal fabrication or related field is preferred.

· Proven experience as a Laser Operator and/or Saw Operator in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years of experience.

· Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is a plus.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship.

· Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

· Physical stamina and dexterity to handle metal materials and perform repetitive tasks.

Pay: $21.24 - $28.50 per hour
