Front Desk Receptionist

Maine Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center is a dental practice located in Saco, ME. We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist and referral/implant coordinator to serve as our first point of contact for our patients and manage our front desk. The Front Desk Receptionist will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, and entering patient information into our electronic medical records system. This position requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Greet patients and provide them with appropriate directions.
  • Answer phones in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Schedule patient appointments using our EMR system.
  • Obtain patient information from refering offices.
  • Enter patient information into EMR system.
  • Perform other clerical duties such as scanning documents, copying, faxing, copying, filing etc.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits and explanation of coverage
  • Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivables Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management or office manager.
  • Maintain office cleanliness and stock supplies when needed.
  • Provide management with reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout the day.
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by management or office manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
·High school diploma or equivalent required.
· NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED, just a good attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • No weekends

Work Location: In person
