What You Will Do to Change Lives 

The Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist provides direct members served community support and case management services to assigned members served using Psychiatric Rehabilitation principles, Recovery Philosophy, and Evidence-Based practices. This position provides education and support to members served and their families. S/he coordinates service needs and collaborates with other services and agencies such as the Conservator's Office, Public Defender's Office, Child and adult Protective Services, Probation Department, and Inpatient Services, Long Term Care Services, Residential Settings and County Mental Health Services. The Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist completes assessments, provides mental health rehabilitation services, case management, crisis intervention, integrated whole person care, and trauma informed care. 

Shifts Available: 

Full Time; AM 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday

Expected starting wage range is $24.50 - $30.27. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have) 

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or Social Services and two (2) years of experience providing direct services in Mental Health; or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or Social Services and four (4) years of experience providing direct services in Mental Health; or an Associate’s Degree and six (6) years of experience providing direct services in Mental Health
• Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc.

We have a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and nurse practitioners, nurses, a master’s-level team lead, a clinical director, personal service coordinators with experience working in mental health and co-occurring substance use, and specialists in housing, education and employment, who are all here to help you on your path. STEPS staff are trained to address the special needs of our members on LPS conservatorship and their families. We have a clinician who provides support to members and their families or significant others. We work closely with residential rehabilitation and board and care providers, where most of the STEPS members reside, to ensure collaboration of services.
