Main Street Pediatrics is looking for a Behavioral Health Clinician. The successful candidate will become an integrated member of the provider staff working 32-40 hours per week.
Working within the practice’s family-centered medical home, the Behavioral Health Clinician will:
A doctoral degree in psychology or a master’s degree in social work is required, and you must be licensed at the independent practice level in Massachusetts.
-Candidates should have a proven record of collaborative service delivery, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the flexibility and adaptability required to work in a busy medical practice.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
- Ability to establish rapport with clients and create a safe and supportive environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
-Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and problem solving therapy is highly desirable.
- Experience in gender issues counseling, and psychopharmacology a plus
