Main Street Care Center is Hiring a Clinical Dietitian (Part-time or PRN) Near Avon, OH

We are seeking a knowledgeableand experienced Dietician to joinour team. As a Dietician, youwill be responsible for providingpersonalized nutrition and dietaryadvice to our clients. You willassess their nutritional needs, develop customized meal plans, and educate individuals on theimportance of healthy eating habits. Your expertise in nutrition andyour ability to provide practicalguidance will be crucial in helpingour clients achieve their healthand wellness goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Registered Dietician (RD) certification.
  • Excellent knowledge of nutritionprinciples, dietary guidelines, and meal planning.
  • Strong understanding of varioushealth conditions and the impactof nutrition on these conditions.
  • Experience conducting nutritionalassessments and developing individualized meal plans.
  • Proficient in analyzing and interpretingblood work, medical history, andother relevant data.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, foreffective counseling and education.
  • Ability to establish rapportwith clients and motivate themto make positive changes in theireating habits.
  • Strong organizational skillsand attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date withthe latest research and trendsin nutrition and dietetics.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritionalassessments to evaluate residents' dietary habits, medical history, and lifestyle.
  • Develop personalized meal plansbased on clients' nutritionalgoals, dietary restrictions, andhealth conditions.
  • Provide individualized counselingand education to clients on propernutrition, portion control, andhealthy eating habits.
  • Monitor residents' progress, makeadjustments to meal plans whennecessary, and provide ongoingsupport and guidance.
  • Collaborate with other healthcareprofessionals, such as doctors, nurses, and therapists, to ensureholistic care for residents.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latestresearch and developments in thefield of nutrition and dietetics.
  • Participate in professional developmentopportunities, such as conferencesand workshops, to enhance knowledgeand skills.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed resident records, including nutritionalassessments, meal plans, and progressnotes.
  • Adhere to ethical and professionalstandards in all aspects of practice.
