Main Street Mobile Treatment is hiring psychiatric nurses to provide in home delivery of long acting psychiatric injectable medication to clients. Nurses can make their own schedules. Injections are either once monthly or every two weeks. So, the schedule is based on administering the the injections as they are do. This can be done on weekends, evening, or during normal business hours. The clients are on a regular schedule. So, injections are administered 2-3/x per month. Nurses will work with an interesting and challenging population of clients who present with a wide range of DSM diagnoses. Nurses meet clients in client’s homes or other community settings throughout Baltimore County Treatment often involves collaboration with the client’s social support system as well as a variety of community agencies. Position entails serving in a supportive and collaborative fashion as a team lead with an independent case load of clients. Supporting clients in medication compliance, health promotion and education, and general healthy living skills are primary roles.

Compensation: Paid per injection given and includes the documentation for each shot.

This is an amazing opportunity to earn some extra income working a few times per months while getting to work with a special group of clients and gain clinical experience interacting with clients diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness.

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland RN license
• Skills in establishing compassionate and empathic relationships, ability to actively engage clients in services, knowledge of clinical documentation.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation.
