Responsibilities:
  • Tire Installation: Mount, balance, and install tires on a variety of vehicles, ensuring accurate fitment and alignment.
  • Tire Repairs: Assess tire damage and perform necessary repairs, such as patching punctures or replacing damaged valves.
  • Tire Maintenance: Rotate, inflate, and inspect tires regularly to ensure proper tread wear and identify potential issues.
  • Wheel Alignment: Assist with wheel alignment procedures, including adjusting camber, caster, and toe angles as needed.
  • Tire Inventory Management: Keep track of tire inventory levels, order new stock, and maintain a well-organized tire storage area.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering inquiries, providing recommendations, and delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operate tire-related equipment, such as tire changers, balancers, and alignment machines.
  • Workplace Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a clean and hazard-free work environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of tire installations, repairs, and maintenance activities for customer billing and warranty purposes.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including mechanics and service advisors, to ensure seamless workflow and efficient service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Prior experience working as a Tire Technician or in a similar automotive service role is preferred.
  • Tire Knowledge: Strong understanding of tire types, sizes, brands, and industry best practices for installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using tire-related equipment, including tire changers, balancers, and alignment machines.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately follow instructions, perform precise measurements, and ensure proper tire fitment and alignment.
  • Physical Stamina: Capability to lift heavy tires, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods in a physically demanding environment.
