Essential Accountabilities:
·Oversee and perform hands-on development and support of the Main Line Health Intranet and Internet sites, including associated Web-based technologies, databases, and applications.
·Create and maintain architectural documentation, design guidelines, and programming standards.
·Coordinate and facilitate the overall security and functionality of the Main Line Health Intranet and Internet sites, ensuring that they are up-to-date, error-free, and functioning correctly.
·Perform Intranet and Internet site needs assessment and recommend solutions.
·Conceptualize, evaluate, and implement new additions to the Intranet and Internet sites and ensure their completion.
·Work with other business units to develop ideas and facilitate vendor and consultant development assistance and relationships.
·Stay current on development trends, tools, and applications.
·Research and evaluate third-party technologies and tools as needed and advise on adoption.
·Provide third-level support on a 24/7 basis in support of the Internet and Intranet, including all Web-based technologies, databases, and applications.
·Escalation of support requests to the Director of Technology and other appropriate Information Services or affiliate facility administrative personnel, as required.
·Create and maintain required project documentation and perform project status reporting and scheduling, as required.
·Develop proposals, including technical and cost justification preparation and technical analysis for Web technology solutions.
·Provide or coordinate training, as required.
·Mentor junior staff; recommend or develop training programs.
Experience:
·A minimum of four (4) years hands-on experience in Web development and support including use of ASP, HTML, XML, Java, Perl, CGI, IIS, MTS, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and FrontPage, in a Windows NT/2000 environment.
·A minimum of four (4) years installation, support and maintenance experience with Microsoft Windows NT/2000, SQL and Internet Information Server. A minimum of three (3) years of project management and web-related site management, and the ability to manage multiple projects and timeframes.
Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in appropriate area, or equivalent experience.
