  • Make an Impact!With a strong working knowledge of coding guidelines, you would provide concurrent clinical review of medical records to facilitate accurate and complete physician documentation for quality and reimbursement purposes. In doing so, you would work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, case managers, and the medical records team. Our Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists also participate in the development, implementation, and roll-out of electronic documentation tools.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
Education:
Bachelors Degree required.
Licensures/Certifications:
1. RN preferred.
2. CCDS or CDIP certification preferred.
