Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with general ledger reconciliation, QuickBooks, and accounting software. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in the field of accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation
- Utilize accounting software to process business transactions
- Handle tasks related to tax preparation, debits, credits, and payroll
- Support the team with technical accounting duties
- Assist in bank reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with the Bookkeeper to maintain financial documentation

Experience:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero software preferred
- Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliation
- Knowledge of tax procedures and payroll processing
- Familiarity with debits, credits, and general ledger functions
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
