MAHLE is Hiring an eCompressor Electrical Systems Engineer, Automotive (Onsite) Near Lockport, NY
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Analyse and track multidisciplinary evolving stakeholder requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Work closely with internal functional departments to ensure that the stakeholder requirements are understood and fulfilled.
- Define internal system specifications which will guide the design of electronic products.
- Generate system architectures which describe all system elements, the relation to each other, and the interfaces as well as the dynamic behaviour of the system.
- Support System Integration and Validation.
- Bachelor degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar Engineering field of study is required
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with and/or defining customer requirements is required; 5 or more is a plus
- Experience in the definition of engineering / electrical system architecture is higly desired
- Knowledge of ISO26262 and KGAS standards is desired
- Knowledge of ALM tools, as PTC Windchill RV&S tool and Polarion tool, and SysML modeling tools, as PTC Windchill Modeler tool and Enterprise Architect tool is desired
- Experience in power electronics is a plus
- Previous experience in direct contact with customer and suppliers is required
