ABOUT OUR COMPANY:

ROLE:

Minimum schedule of 4 days per week; automatic 25% gratuity added to most services; to enhance resort guests’ therapeutic experience by providing professional, courteous, nurturing service, including full knowledge and well executed performance of various massage modalities (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy and Hot Stone); to tailor menu treatments to each guest’s specific needs; ensure prompt and attentive services as directed by supervisor; must possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to get along with co-workers and be able to work as a team player.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Confer with resort guests about medical histories and any specific problems with stress or pain; perform assigned massages such as Swedish (Relaxation), Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, Deep Tissue or a combination of these modalities.
• Provide guests with guidance and information about techniques for postural improvement, stretching, strengthening, relaxation and rehabilitative exercises.
• Ability to transport dirty linen to appropriate laundry area multiple times per shift.
• Cleaning of all massage rooms, before and after all massage services; strict adherence to all State Board of Massage Therapy Rules, Regulations and Protocols.

Requirements

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• Required current massage
• license in good standing from the Nevada State Board of Massage Therapists
• Six months experience in a spa setting.
• Six months customer service experience.

QUALIICATIONS:

• Must present a well groomed appearance.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work any hours any shifts.
• Must retain all required licenses.
• Must be able to speak in a positive and upbeat attitude with the guests at all time.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIROMENT:

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to sit, stand, crouch, stoop and kneel when serving guests.
• Able to work independently with little or no supervision.
