About the Role

Magrathea is seeking a collaborative culture building Facilities and EHS Manager to help run and optimize our manufacturing space. Our innovative talent is one of the biggest drivers in our success, and talented people don’t always fit with rigid job descriptions or day-to-day responsibilities. However, we want to be transparent about what will be expected of this role. The Facilities and EHS Manager will be a key player in the scale-up and design of our revolutionary electrolytic process technology. 

Role Expectations

• Plan and oversee the facility, including re-organization as needed to accommodate growth.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of equipment and infrastructure.
• Lead facility procurement including sourcing, evaluating, and selecting vendors and suppliers for equipment, materials, and services and managing the procurement process.
• Own and schedule the technician team to operate the pilot plant efficiently and safely.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the efficient and safe operation of our facilities.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Including updating our EHS program, reporting on EHS, and developing a safety 

Ideal Background

• Basic understanding of chemistry fundamentals and fabrication knowledge.
• Proven experience in facilities management and procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance best practices, and safety regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

• Salary range: $80-$120k annually (commensurate with experience)
