Cabinet Team Member to Build Cabinets for Commercial Use

Our current product lines include medical, dental, and veterinarian clinics as well as Spay and Neuter, and adoption units. Each of our units is designed using work class craftsmanship and is unique to the needs of each of our clients.

Our Process:

We have found that production on our mobile units works best in teams of four. These teams are each working on their own mobile unit which takes roughly four weeks to build depending on size and complexity of the ordered clinic. And we have a cabinetry department and welding department that supports these teams.

The Job:

This is a full-time position with our cabinetry team:

• Selecting the appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each assigned task.
• Be exact in measurements and markings so that materials will be used efficiently.
• Install the appropriate hardware, such as cabinet hinges and handles, and order replacement materials when needed.
• Cutting materials down to size, as needed.
• Planning an effective and efficient approach to work to ensure that each project is completed on time within set time parameter.
• Gathering the elements of each cabinet and assembling the final product.
• Inspecting each completed item to ensure that it has been constructed accurately and that it is finished appropriately for the mobile unit.

Skills Required:

• 1 - 3 years cabinet experience (major plus) but on job training required
• The ability to use hand tools
• Knowledge of materials and processing
• Attention to detail
• Able to read a tape measure and accurately cut materials
• Understanding of necessary mathematics (such as fractions)
• Have the ability to lift and carry a ¾” of 4’ x 8’ sheet of plywood when needed
• Simple cabinetry skills test will be given and passed before hire

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
