- This person is responsible for acquiring needed supplies, materials and other relevant items, following a strict budget and keeping records of all the transactions.
- This position works closely with the finance and operations departments.
- The main duties of this position entail purchasing business-related items and equipment and comparing price between vendors to get the best price for goods and services.
- Review requests for quotes and purchase orders to procure materials, goods and supplies.
- Place orders with the suppliers.
- Review inventories and order as required.
- Interact with the suppliers on a day to day basis.
- Track the status of any orders.
- Deal with under orders, over orders and damaged goods.
- Attention to detail.
- Exhibit written communications skills.
- Experience with Google/Microsoft Apps.
- Self-starter who can multi-task, enjoys communicating, and building relationships.
- Ability to work with deadlines.
- Can handle fast-pace environment with interruptions.
- Valid driver license.
