Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, such as residential homes, hotels, or commercial establishments. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional customer service will contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our clients.

Duties:

- Perform general housekeeping tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming

- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and other living areas

- Wash and fold clothes

- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces

- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly

- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products

- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness

- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Good communication skills to interact with clients in a professional manner

- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

Skills:

- Communicate effectively and appropriately with residents, families, and members of the health care team.

- Recognize and respond to the needs of the residents.

- Communicate a sense of caring, concern and dignity for residents. ·

-Maintain a positive, upbeat, and encouraging attitude toward the residents.

- Effectively manage time to perform the essential functions of the job.

- Function in the health care team as a resident advocate.

-Must not pose a direct threat to the safety or health of self or others.

- Recognize and respond to the needs of the physical plant.

- Make prompt and accurate judgments with regard to Housekeeping Aide duties.

- Observe and assess at the Housekeeping Aide level the physical, psycho-social and safety needs of residents.
