MAGNOLIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER is Hiring a Radiology Tech (CT Tech / Imaging) Near Magnolia, AR

Responsible for the accuracy and quality of examinations while practicing care and safety of the patient. Maintains records as needed and is responsible for the x-ray equipment and everything in the department while on duty. This position is classified as a “Safety Sensitive” position within MRMC and adheres to our Drug and Alcohol Policy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Obtain routine radiography.
2. Utilize CR equipment.
3. Making copies of exams CD and hardcopies.
4. Mix barium for Upper GIs and Barium Enemas
5. Assist the Radiologist during fluoroscopic examinations.
6. Obtain routine overhead radiographs of fluoroscopic examinations.
7. Perform C-arm during OR procedures.
8. Perform portable x-ray examinations.
9. Utilize computer systems (CPSI-order entry and Image Link (PACS)
10. Sending Images to remote sites Radiologist After hours and UAMS.
11. Transport patients as needed.
12. Prepare contrast material for IVPs and CT scans.
13. Administer diagnostic agents under the direct supervision of responsible physician.
14 . Performs Specialties at competency levels indicated on the Orientation/ annual competency. (CT)
15. Perform call duties as designated by the Director of Radiology Services.
16. PACS administer duties as assigned. (See PACS administrator responsibilities)
17. Assist with office duties as needed (secure patient information, fax reports, file and pull folders, work up pts for next day, yearly purge, etc.)
18. Help other technologists and clinical instructors as needed **
19. Assures adequate supervision of students
20. Conducts image review sessions with students.
21. Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
A. Education and Training:
Graduate of approved AMAC of education program in radiological technology. Associates degree or higher.
B. Experience:
Prefer one years experience as a Radiological Tech.
Clinical Instructors must have at least two years experience as ARRT Rad. Tech.
C. Licensure, Registration, Certification:
Must be registered or registry eligible.
Arkansas State license.
Clinical Instructor must be an ARRT.
CPR Certification.
