Requirements:

  • An exceptional ability to communicate well with elderly patients
  • Strong teamwork and organizational skills
  • The ability to maintain the confidentiality of resident information
  • A genuine desire to care for and work with the elderly and a commitment to promoting residents’ independence
  • Ability to undergo criminal and drug background check
  • At least 18 years old
  • Current basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within a specified time frame
  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate

Obligations:

  • Providing outstanding and person-centered care to our residents
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
  • Charting and documenting all necessary information accurately and timely
  • Responding to calls for assistance and attending to residents' needs promptly
  • Assisting in the implementation of the individualized care plans for residents
  • Observing, noting, and reporting any changes in behavior, health, or safety of residents to the nursing team
  • Engaging residents in stimulating conversation and activities to boost their morale and overall quality of life
