Responsibilities

• Collecting blood samples from patients of all ages using proper venipuncture techniques
• Labeling and recording all samples accurately and efficiently to ensure proper processing
• Monitoring and maintaining accurate records of all blood samples collected
• Assisting in the training and supervision of new phlebotomists
• Following all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Communicating effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding of the phlebotomy process
• Managing and maintaining all necessary equipment and supplies to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects
• Current proof of a TB test within the last 12 months
