Job Responsibilities– Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Follow-up collections from customers by sending communications through the latter’s portal, email, and or telephone call weekly.
• Verify, record, and update customer accounts by posting all payments received (direct deposit, ACH, and checks) daily.
• Pull customers’ statement of accounts (SOA) from the ERP system and email them to customers weekly.
• Run and analyze aging schedule of customers weekly; investigate and reconcile accounts with customer’s records.
• Recommend which customer’s account would be on credit hold based on collection and AR aging.
• Collaborate and coordinate with sales field personnel regarding collection of past due accounts, particularly DSD (direct store delivery) customers.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries pertaining to credits and/or charges to customers.
• Update contact information of customers regularly.
• Perform billing function for certain customers, if necessary.
• Perform other functions that may be assigned by the Accounting Manager or Controller.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• At least 2 years’ experience in AR collections
• Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly in Excel
• Experience with large ERP such as NetSuite, SAP, MS Dynamics preferred.
• Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.

Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Range:

$19.00-$22.00
