Position Overview: The Invoicing Specialist will efficiently and accurately ensure MIL is invoicing appropriately for work performed.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure MIL invoices appropriately for its work, by analyzing time, labor and material spent on work for its customers. 
• Ensure MIL invoices match customers' PO as well MIL processes performed as appropriate.
• Review historical customer quotes and send to estimating team to update as appropriate.
• Analyze invoicing issues/gaps for patterns and underlying issues. Propose solutions to improve a streamlined process.
• Work with Customer Account Managers to obtain revised POs as necessary.
• Collaborate with the estimating team to improve consistency in pricing strategies.
• Provide cross-functional support across inside sales and estimating as needed.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Very detailed orientated; comfortable working in multiple ERP/Data systems

Comfortable with large data sets

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to learn quickly, see patterns, and routinely resolve inconsistencies.

Prioritize and efficiently complete tasks with consistency and accuracy, often under pressure and/or short deadlines. 

Minimum Job Requirements:

• 2 years' experience in an estimating, pricing position, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Must have an Associate’s degree. 
• Demonstrated competence in high-throughput/high-impact environments.
• PC proficient with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office applications. 
• Must be a curious, detail-oriented, organized, self-starting individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
• Individual must be authorized to work in the U.S. under one of the following criteria: 1. A citizen of the United States, 2. A lawful permanent resident, 3. A non-citizen National of the United States. 

Reports: The invoicing specialist reports to the Customer Success Relationship Supervisor.

Hours: Start times may vary depending on position and department; must be flexible to work overtime and additional hours as needed to support the department in times of increased demand.
