You will have a direct impact on our business each day by:

• Overseeing multiple shifts of operations of the FreshCut and processing departments
• Monitoring raw material and packaging to ensure supply and freshness to support production requirements
• Monitoring down time and identifying triggers and tactics to reduce controllable causes to improve line fill efficiencies
• Training a crew to understand KPI's and implement goals and objects for crew leads to obtain results
• Maintaining a visible presence on the production floor to monitor machine operations and provide technical guidance during all production and sanitation phases.
• Participating in all aspects of the employee life cycle from hiring to training to termination and ensuring high levels of employee engagement
• Assuring compliance with all safety, GMP/HACCP, and policies

Requirements

• Have prior knowledge and experience in a Fresh Cut, perishable, ready to eat operation
• Strong leadership skills including a minimum of one year of experience leading hourly employees in a food manufacturing facility
• Strong computer skills including email, excel, and ERP system experience
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours
• Willingness to work in a cold (34 - 36F) environment
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
