Job Summary

Established law firm seeking an experienced paralegal/case manager to assist our team of personal injury, medical malpractice, and workers compensation attorneys in our Charlotte office. Our firm handles complex and serious cases so significant experience is preferred but a candidate with some experience and an interest in a long-term position with substantial growth opportunities will be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Starting Salary: competitive, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities and Duties

This candidate will be able to handle a case from pre-litigation through trial. This includes communicating with clients, organizing medical records and billing, drafting demands and pleadings, scheduling depositions, drafting/responding to discovery and preparing for trial.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years previous experience handling personal injury and/or medical malpractice cases required
  • Experience with SmartAdvocate case management/document management software beneficial but not required.
  • Detail-oriented, able to multitask and have a professional demeanor
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload involving sensitive information
  • Able to have frequent and effective interactions with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies

Pay: $37,811.27 - $72,087.90 per year
