Job Title: Horticulture Team Member
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for the guest and employees in and around the attractions at Magic Springs Theme and Water Park.
- Responsible for all operational aspects of their assigned area of the park and reporting to Lead, Supervisor, and or Manager.
- Reports all problems to Lead, Supervisor, and or Manager immediately.
- Assure they are trained properly, according to the Horticulture training program.
- Daily monitoring of the Horticulture standard operating procedures.
- Assure all paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Maintain high standard of quality guest service.
- Maintain the beauty and cleanliness of the entire landscape of the park.
- Handle other projects, duties and responsibilities delegated by the Horticulture Lead, Supervisor, and or Manager.
- Follow and uphold policies and procedures as determined by Magic Springs
- Any additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Friendly and outgoing
- Flexibility in scheduling and availability to stay to the end of the season.
- Must have good attendance and be to work on time.
- Must be able to follow direction given to them by their Lead, Supervisor, and or Manager.
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work with other departments

- Must be able to walk or stand for up to 8 hours a shift.
- Requires kneeling and bending.
- Requires reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling.
- Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
- Requires occasional carries that may exceed 100 pounds with the assistance of a two-wheel hand truck.
- Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, hand/eye coordination, near vision.
