Job Overview:

The Revenue Audit Clerk I performs all gaming and nongaming related audits as needed. The Revenue Audit Clerk I also performs financial reporting functions, including preparation of journal entries, verification of system reporting functions, and recording financial information by entering data into the computer, calculating and summarizing numbers, and drafting and reviewing financial documents for proper completion. Observes and checks inventory counts of controlled forms, pull tabs, scratch-offs, gift cards and other items as required and directed, maintains compliance with gaming regulations and completes other tasks as assigned by Revenue Audit Supervisor or above.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews the appropriate number and propriety of signatures on all jackpots and W2-G forms.
• Reports deviations from company procedure to the Casino Controller.
• Prepares analysis requested by the Casino Controller.
• Participates in reading slot machine progressive and quarterly meters.
• Institutes and documents control procedures for issuance and redemption of all tickets by computerized system.
• Maintain a daily and monthly reconciliation analyzing all vault activities.
• Investigate and report discrepancies with outlined control procedures.
• Performs daily casino revenue audits and related revenue reports for management.
• All other duties assigned. Verifies and records revenue for the casino. Audit poker room daily operations. Prepare and send daily reports to the state auditors.

Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

• High School Diploma required.
• Must have 2 years of auditing experience, preferably in a casino environment.
• Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
• Knowledge of commonly-used accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
• General knowledge of Microsoft, Excel required (a skills test may be administered with a passing score of 70%)- required
• Must possess strong written and communication skills.
• Team work skills are a must.
• Must have a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• Bi-lingual a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
