Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter/Laborer to join our team. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of painting and labor tasks to ensure the successful completion of projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth. Our base is Rutland County but we travel all over Vermont for projects.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing any imperfections
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and wear protective gear while working
- Assist with general labor tasks such as moving materials, setting up equipment, and cleaning work areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client satisfaction
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Painter/Laborer or similar role is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
