A unique opportunity for a great experienced barista passionate about life, people, specialty coffee and working in a positive environment. Maggie's Farm Espresso is looking for a part time Barista currently to support & drive the coffee function of our independent Australian style specialty coffee shop and develop it into a leading local coffee program. Must be able to work one shift on the weekend.

Responsibilities

Dial in and pull espresso shots per the stores recipe

Enjoy and have a palette to taste drip, espresso. cold brew and other beverages
Consistently perform and produce excellent quality espresso beverages quickly & including great latte art

Enjoy hospitality and have genuine care for guests and teammmates

Be a strong team mate and help out fellow teammates including serving guests, doing, dishes, restocking, cleaning etc.
Demonstrate passion for personalized customer service and developing strong relationships with customers & staff
Maintain a safe clean working environment compliant with dept. of health
Opportunity to enhance coffee program, change coffee menu to enhance overall program and experience
Tasks such as setup, cleanup and breakdown
Manage inventory and replenishment, prep area, tools and equipment
Be able to be a team player and help out as cashier or running food or doing dishes as needed

Requirements
Team Player, positive attitude, ability to make great coffee but also serve customers, clean up & assist all areas of café
Extensive experience making quality espresso, including dialing in, making adjustments, maintaining consistent espresso extraction and batch brewing, preparing cold brew.
Minimum of 2 year experience in specialty coffee service
NJ or NY Food handler's license (preferred) but not required
Must present well, can do attitude and thrive in fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Basic math and written communication skills
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position (lift up to 50lbs) and use hands repetitively for pushing, pulling and fine manipulation
