Mag’s Local Yogurt is Hiring an Assistant Manager Near Larkspur, CA

Job Summary:
Mag's Local Yogurt, the leader in self-serve frozen yogurt located in Larkspur, is seeking a part time Assistant Manager.

We are looking for outgoing, hands-on individuals with strong customer service and communications skills, and the ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.

Applicants must have/be:

Clean and professional appearance, with great communication skills.

Upbeat, friendly, positive, and willing to work in all areas of the shop.

Able to work a mix of days, including mornings, mid-day, nights, weekends and some Holidays.

Have excellent references and attendance history.

Duties include:

Making sure that every customer leaves HAPPY.

Operations, including cashiering, expediting, food preparation, placing and receiving orders and completing daily paperwork.

Cleaningof yogurt machines, kitchen and front of house.

Other preferred experience/abilities include:

Basic knowledge of cash register POS systems and Apple IPad knowledge, basic email capability and communication skills.

An average of 20-30 hours per week is expected. Weekday mornings, Weekend and evening availability is required.

- Utilize POS systems efficiently to process sales and returns
- Maintain professionalism in phone etiquette for customer inquiries and issue resolution
- Drive retail sales by implementing effective marketing strategies
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience
- Assist in payroll processing and scheduling

Experience:
- Proven experience in retail management with a focus on cash handling, inventory control, and customer service
- Proficiency in POS systems and understanding of retail operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of market trends to drive sales growth
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
