I'm recruiting for a large client who has a need for several experienced Plant Maintenance Technicians working full-time out of their Elkwood, VA facility. They need someone with a mechanical ability and skills and the mental acuity and desire to learn! If you have electrical experience that's a huge plus!! They will train you. They need someone with strongorganizational skills to perform facility and routine and complex servicing andrebuilding of production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and servicing production machinery and equipment, including basic gear shift, to grease to pulley shafts to saws. They will teach you welding, they will train you on electrical, they want someone who wants to learn, with a great attitude to learn!!
- Maintenance, air handling, hydraulic, valves, circuits, and pumps; ensures that preventative maintenance programs are performed.
- Performs more complex rebuilding of machinery and equipment when more extensive maintenance is required and order the correct part when needed.
- Troubleshoots machinery and equipment malfunctions and replaces defective parts; may recommend equipment replacement if it determines sufficient wear to potentially cause safety or reliability problems.
- We have the Kawasaki mule so you don’t have to walk all around and find your tools.
