Madisonville Christmas Company is an 11-acre business that is a year-round destination for all things Christmas. Onsite, we have a Christmas store, outdoor pavilion / lawn, café, sports bar, and several food trucks. The Operations Services Lead is responsible for ensuring that team members are executing things with high standards in a fun and upbeat environment, and continuously promote exceptional service to creates a positive, inviting, and memorable experience for our team members and guest.

What you will be doing:

In the role of the Operations Services Lead, you play a vital role at the heart of our company, ensuring our guests have an extraordinary experience. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our inventory is promptly and efficiently made available on the sales floor in excellent condition. You are responsible for leading a range of tasks to fulfill this responsibility, including:

• Unpacking merchandise from incoming trucks, boxes, and pallets.
• Carefully inspecting new merchandise for any damage or flaws.
• Removing expired or damaged items from the shelves and correctly allocating discrepancies in the system.
• Generating and attaching price tags or labels to the merchandise.
• Scanning items to accurately update the inventory system.
• Organizing inventory in designated storage areas within the storeroom or warehouse.
• Stocking shelves, racks, and display fixtures with newly received products.
• Returning misplaced products to their appropriate locations, including those found at checkout areas or elsewhere in the store.
• Properly disposing of empty boxes, packaging materials, and pallets.
• Delivering exceptional guest service while fulfilling guest orders.
• Providing assistance in other departments as needed.
• Communicating effectively with guests, team members and business partners. 
• Driving engagement by caring and connecting with others.
• Developing team members to drive results and modeling the core values of the company.
• Delivering exceptional guest service while assisting with order fulfillment.
• Developing solutions to continually improve inventory system and communicating needs and concerns through appropriate feedback channels.

Your attention to detail and efficient execution of these tasks will contribute to a well-maintained inventory system and ensure that our customers have access to products in excellent condition.

• Passion for excellent service and teamwork.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and management skills. 
• Previous warehouse or applicable inventory control experience.
• Knowledge of cash register/POS systems or inventory control systems is a plus.
• Experience as a hands-on leader who loves being on the sales floor to motivate, coach, and help teams succeed. 
• Strong emotional intelligence, resilience, communication skills, and the ability to positively influence team members. 
• A knack for attracting, identifying, and inspiring employees.
• Flexible availability, including before/ after store hours and weekends.
• Ability to lift/ carry up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, bend, kneel, stretch, and stand for up to 8-hour shifts.
• Knowledge of cash register/ POS systems is a plus.
• Adherence to dress code and policies in the handbook.
