Madison Mutual Insurance Company is currently seeking a positive and professional individual for the position of Auto Claims Representative. The Auto Claims Representative investigates, evaluates, and resolves routine auto property/liability claims based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage. The person in this position corresponds with policyholders, claimants, witnesses, attorneys, and more to gather important information to support contested insurance claims. The person in this position also prepares reports of investigation findings and may conduct field evaluations to inspect and document damage or loss.

The Auto Claims Representative ideally has completed an associate level or higher of college coursework and has general knowledge of automobile mechanical and body repair methods.

The Auto Claims Representative must have excellent time management and prioritization skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The individual must also have basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite products and exhibit a professional appearance and attitude.

This position requires a minimum of two days per week in our Edwardsville, IL Home Office (near St. Louis, MO). ***Local candidates only (no relocation reimbursement)***

Salary and Benefits package available starting at $45,500
