• Knowledge of and/or experience teaching using online curriculum tools like Achieve3000.

• Knowledge of and experience teaching a standards-based ELA curriculum

• Creates and maintains a positive and emotionally safe learning environment

• Demonstrated ability to differentiate curriculum and instruction supporting students with a range of abilities in an inclusive setting.

• Administer a BOS and EOS screener to all students on your roster.

• Demonstrated ability to administer assessments, analyze and use the data to inform instruction.

• Understands unique family characteristics, and finds ways to engage families as full partners in their children’s education

• Create and send a welcome letter to the families on your roster prior to the start of summer programming.

• Report a mid and end of summer progress report to families.

Teaching certification that covers grade level.
