Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary: Advanced Practice Provider
A Physician Assistant provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services for patients in collaboration with or under the clinical supervision of a physician. He or she will be responsible for the patient evaluation, ordering and interpretation of diagnostic studies, and prescribing of appropriate medical and therapeutic measures. The majority of this job's workday is spent within an outpatient clinic setting.
Requirements and/or Preferences:
Education: Advanced Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nurse Practitioner
We are looking for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Pulmonary and Critical Care team. This position will include duties of outpatient clinical services in pulmonary medicine, alternating with inpatient pulmonary and ICU consultations on an alternating basis. Gradual development of independent run clinic. This is a strictly consultative service at a high-tech hospital. No night call. Very friendly environment, plenty of supervision and teaching, excellent benefits and compensation. Significant opportunity for professional growth.
