About the Position

We are seeking a Power Lines (BP, P&P, Thucassi) Picking Lead to support our picking team. The position will report to the Picking supervisor and provides guidance to the picking team by delegating duties and ensuring that all ERP orders are processed correctly and in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

• Be the point contact with the Power Lines Shipping Lead, and address concerns/issues related to mis-picks, order flow, etc.
• Review the WH mis-ship report for Power Lines and address the mis-ships
• This will include providing guidance and feedback to your team on processing errors 
• Additionally, this Lead should provide process improvement ideas to their supervisor
• Ensure all PL pickers are trained on RF gun usage, product stock count (for BP, multiples vs. packs)
• Assign out day-to-day work flow at the beginning of the shift
• Decide on necessary overtime on a needed basis and provide report to supervisor
• Ensure pickers are remaining efficient and complete orders in a timely fashion
• Report to the PL shipping clerk daily 

Requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of the AHD receiving and picking process
• Previous picking experience on a cherry picker
• Knowledge of processing orders using an RF scanner
• Computer proficiency (MS Office, Sage X3)
• Leadership skills
• Strong prioritization ability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to organize
• Comfortable with operating a forklift at height

Physical Demands of the Position 

The position is required to occasionally sit, climb, balance, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The individual will be operating a forklift at a height of 20 feet.
