Madden Industrial Craftsmen has a client that needs to add an_ Asphalt Foreman_ to its hard working team. Bring your concrete knowledge and leadership skills to join a dynamic asphalt restoration company that’s been in business for 40 years. $36.75-$50.00 per hour DOE.

Responsibilities:

• Organizes work to get the most productivity out of the crew .
• Participates in pre-project and pre-task planning activities (reviews plans, subgrade, drainage, fine grading, compaction, paving, etc.) and then relays planning details to field crew.
• Checks plants and orders correct amount of materials daily for asphalt patching. Coordinates with Operations Assistant to order correct amount of materials needed for concrete patching.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Supervise, and trains crew.
• Performs all aspects of the job, including general laboring and operating equipment.
• Solves problems as they arise and contacts Superintendent for assistance if unable to resolve the problem.

Qualifications:

• Industry experience and 1 year in supervisory roll.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and safety guidelines.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate and report effectively.
• Strong problem solving skills and aptitude in math.
• Ability to work weekends and occasional nights.
• Ability to travel to various worksites.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• Clean driving abstract.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.75 - $50.00 per hour
