Position Description

As a Mad Science Summer Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for teaching our summer camp curriculum to a group of elementary-aged children each week. Our camp day runs from 9 am to 4 pm, with before and/or after care from 8-9 am and 4-6 pm at many locations. We have camp locations throughout the DC metro area, including Vienna, McLean, Bethesda, Rockville, Gaithersburg, Silver Spring, DC, Howard County, Arlington, Annandale, Fairfax, Springfield, Alexandria, Chantilly, and more. You will be scheduled to locations based on where you live, and will be at the same location all week (and sometimes from week to week as well). We provide all the materials, as well as a paid training on all the content. All you need to do is bring your eagerness to learn, and we give you all the tools you need to deliver an amazing summer for our campers. Training and orientation will be conducted during the first two weeks of June, so you will need some availability during those weeks to learn the content.
