Mad River Hospital seeks a Certified Phlebotomist to assist in the operation of the laboratory by obtaining specimens, accessioning laboratory tests in LIS, preparing specimens for transport, and maintaining supplies. Must have California CPT certification. This position is Per Diem.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· California CPT required.

· Prior phlebotomy experience.

· Computer proficiency.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Reliability and maturity.

· A positive attitude and the ability to get along with coworkers, staff and patients.

· Ability to be flexible with scheduling and willingness to work the occasional weekend. Holiday coverage is shared among staff.

· Comfortable with working independently.

Wages are based on prior related experience.

Pay: $19.50 - $25.00 per hour
