*4th Shift Position* Friday - Sunday, Nights

This position will lead a manufacturing team for their specified shift. This is a working supervisor position, responsible for the operation and general maintenance of digital printing and fulfillment equipment. The successful candidate must be able to operate independently and with minimal supervision. Must communicate & follow up effectively on a timely basis as well as establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with all Mad Engine Teams. 

Essential Functions: 
 The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of successful inventory control and production management in a fast-pace and growing environment. The Shift Supervisor will supervise their assigned shift, including but not limited to stock pickers, press operators, quality assurance, warehouse personnel and fulfillment staff. 

 Manufacturing or production experience is highly recommended especially in the apparel or offset printing industry. This new technology should be easy to learn for the right candidate. 
 
 • Follow the production schedule as determined by the Production Planning Manager. 
 • Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs as needed. 
 • Conducts frequent partial physical inventory audits to verify accuracy of computer records. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supports distribution and warehouse personnel. 
• Ability to operate any of the production equipment as needed; verifies completed projects meet quality standards; monitors all printing systems to insure appropriate and safe procedures are followed as required by operation manuals; 
• performs other related duties commensurate with the requirements of the printing and production department. 
• Supervising and motivating a team of workers; reviewing the performance of subordinates; identifying training needs. 
• Manage timecards and team member schedules
• May operate a forklift; minimal travel; flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed

Required Skills:

•  3-5 years of manufacturing or production experience is required; independent supervision experience required; planning experience is a plus. 
•  Basic mechanical and equipment troubleshooting experience is necessary. 
• The successful candidate will have experience in planning, shop floor control, inventory management and supervisory experience; be extremely detailed and dependable; able to multitask, skilled in organizing work efficiently and ability to work with minimum supervision. 
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to organize vast amounts of data; ability to multi-task several priorities and possess solid time management skills. 
• Familiar with and capable of working the entire MS Office suite; knowledge of automated or computerized system operation including ERP or MRP systems. 
• The successful applicant will be a self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced team environment; strong ability to manipulate data for efficient analysis; demonstrates initiative, is cost conscientious and provides complete follow through on all aspects of responsibility; 
   excellent time management and communication skills.
