This position will work closely with the Shift Supervisor to help them lead a manufacturing team for their specified shift. This is a working position, responsible for first line technical support as well as the operation and general maintenance of digital printing and fulfillment equipment. The successful candidate must be able to operate independently and with minimal supervision. Must communicate & follow up effectively on a timely basis as well as establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with all Mad Engine Teams. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Manufacturing:

• Follow the production schedule as determined by the Production Planning Manager. 
• Supports distribution and warehouse personnel. 
• Ability to operate any of the production equipment as needed; verifies completed projects meet quality standards; monitors all printing systems to insure appropriate and safe procedures are followed as required by operation manuals. 
• performs other related duties commensurate with the requirements of the printing and production department. 
• Supervising and motivating a team of workers; reviewing the performance of subordinates; identifying training needs. 
• Manage timecards and team member schedules
• May operate a forklift; minimal travel; flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed

Required Skills:

• Production experience is required. 
• Basic mechanical and equipment troubleshooting experience is necessary. 
• Basic technical support experience required (setting up a home system, understanding basic troubleshooting methods, etc)
• Familiar with Mad Engine equipment and processes is desired
• The successful candidate will be extremely detailed and dependable; able to multitask, skilled in organizing work efficiently and ability to work with minimum supervision. 
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to multi-task several priorities and possess solid time management skills. 
• Familiar with and capable of working the entire MS Office suite; knowledge of automated or computerized system operation including ERP or MRP systems. 
• The successful applicant will be a self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced team environment; strong ability to manipulate data for efficient analysis; demonstrates initiative, is cost conscientious and provides complete follow through on all aspects of responsibility;
