• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure to support our cloud customers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and our Data Center Technicians to optimize services for performance and cost-efficiency.

• Manage and support macOS-based systems within the organization.
• Utilize Apple Business Manager and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for efficient device provisioning, management, and security.

• Lead physical hardware design, including deployment and rack and stack operations in data centers.
• Ensure proper cabling, power distribution, and hardware configurations for MacStadium’s proprietary rack designs

• Oversee and optimize data center electrical power distribution
• Implement measures to enhance power efficiency and reliability across rack IP addressable ATSs and PDUs

• Demonstrate knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and architectures relating to Layer 1 and 2 infrastructure
• Collaborate with network specialists to optimize and troubleshoot network performance.

• Develop comprehensive infrastructure build guides and documentation to standardize deployment processes
• Ensure that infrastructure build guides align with best practices, security requirements, and compliance standards

• Conduct training sessions for internal teams on infrastructure build processes and best practices
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to team members to enhance overall skill sets and promote self-sufficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
• 3 years of experience as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
• In-depth expertise in macOS, Apple Business Manager, Mobile Device Management, and Asset Management
• Proven experience in rack and stack operations in data center environments
• Knowledge of data center electrical power distribution and optimization for US, EU, and Asian markets
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities

• Strong technical writing skills
• Project management skills for handling complex infrastructure projects are desired
• Industry certifications include Apple Certified System Administrator or equivalent
• Hands-on rack-n-stack and design is required
• Rack elevations and bill of materials (BOM) experience required
• Netbox or Nautobot experience is preferred
• Jamf or equivalent MDM experience is preferred
• Low voltage certification is desired
• Linux knowledge is desired
