MacQueen Equipment is Hiring a Service Coordinator Near Saint Paul, MN

Job Summary: Responsible for scheduling, directing, and monitoring service work for the department location.

Essential Duties:

  • Effectively coordinates WIP daily to meet department goals through prioritization of work and appropriate scheduling of resources.
  • Communicates with customers, coordinators, and sales reps daily regarding scheduling, quoting, and repairing of equipment
  • Quote all service work to be performed in CDK, unless previously quoted by the service Mgr or an approved Sales Rep and approved by customer
  • Reviews technical bulletins, product improvement programs and other campaigns to identify affected repairs and assists Technicians in finding service.
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ direct industry experience or 5 years in related industry
  • Internal applicants: Acceptable level of safety, rework, and productivity in prior roles

Job Summary: Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with strategic customers in the assigned region while providing leadership, support, and guidance to a team of Sales Representatives.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop sales strategies and techniques to increase our market share and improve the customer experience
  • Oversee Sales Representatives and their professional development while also helping them resolve customer concerns or issues
  • Maintain and nurture existing key or strategic customer relationships to ensure those customers are satisfied with the level of sales, service and support they receive from us in order to retain/grow our business
  • Increase customer engagement, interactions, and transactions within the assigned region Area of Responsibility.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts leveraging our CRM system tool, the 5-4-3-2-1 Sales Process and Fleet data for each Sales Representative and for the region
  • Advise and make recommendations with respect to regional trends, competitive strategies and support required
  • Other duties as assigned

o Expert knowledge of all key operating systems to include critical vendor applications and Microsoft Office.

o Advanced knowledge of key product systems and components

o Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance

instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

o Ability to develop and maintain healthy relationships with Branch and Company staff

o Effectively communicate in various environments and settings through multiple channels

o Create safe, positive work environment for employees

o Ability to lead and supervise employees/teams to identify and execute on a set of goals while maintaining team cohesion

o Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

o Interpretation of a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

  • Organizational

o Accountability for the Branch’s Parts and Service financial performance and statements with advanced understanding of financial definitions: GP, OpEx, OpInc & EBITDA

o Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentages.

o Understanding of interdepartmental relationships and can lead outcomes across departments

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years Sales Management experience or 5 years Industry related experience
  • 2-year degree in related field
  • Excellent skills in communication, interpersonal, organizational and attention to detail
  • Proficient usage of MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Working knowledge of CRM & CDK
  • This role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement.

  • BS in Business or related field

ADA Requirements:

  • Typically sits, grasp items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularly
  • Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 40 lbs occasionally, >20 lbs frequently
  • Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards
  • Travel by air or car frequently
