Receiving Warehouse Associate – Reno Distribution Center

Role Overview

A MacPherson’s Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving PO’s accurately according to company guidelines. Receivers utilize an RF scanner to process the PO’s and put-away product to the correct location. A Receiver will need to have the ability to walk or stand most of the day and meet productivity and accuracy requirements.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with some Saturdays required. The range of pay is $15.50 - $20.93 per hour, depending on experience, plus 14 days paid vacation in the first year. A $500 sign-on bonus is available and will be paid out in two payments. The first $250 will be paid in the first paycheck after the employee’s first 30 days of employment. The second $250 will be paid in the first paycheck after the 90th day of employment. 

The Good Fit

Skills we are looking for, but not required:

• Two years of experience in a distribution/warehouse environment.
• Previous experience using an RF scanner.
• Good in basic math, and the ability to work well with others.
• To be punctual, team oriented, committed to safety, enthusiastic, and willing to learn.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Continuously perform repetitive physical tasks involving frequent walking, reaching, bending, lifting, twisting, pushing/pulling, and standing.
• Ability to meet productivity, quality, safety, and attendance requirements. (Including overtime as required)
• Previous stand-up forklift experience is a bonus
