IT Business Systems Analyst

Summary:

MACOM is looking for an entry to midlevel system analyst to join the IT application service team. The position willbe part of a team managing and supporting the Product Life Cycle (PLM) systemat MACOM.

The PLM process and system play acrucial role in our business as they support the entire product lifecycle ofall our products. This area involves various business functions, making it anexcellent opportunity for someone who wishes to grow with the company,collaborate with multiple business users, and contribute significantly.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of technical experience in Product Life Management(PLM) systems or similar IT/business systems
• Proficiency in configuration, customization, and integrationof IT or business systems
• Knowledge of PLM process and/or Agile PLM system is a bigplus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related IT field
• Due to ITAR regulations, candidate must be a US person

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes.
• Participate in business process/department/functionalgroup activities regularly to understand business needs and challenges andfacilitate improvements on the PLM system.
• Collaborate with business users on configuration,implementation, and upgrade of PLM system to obtain performance needs.
• Provide technical support, and assistance to businessuser issues, for PLM aligned to support SLAs.
• Support the creation and maintenance of documentation(use/functional/design requirements, best practices, change requests, codedocumentation)
• Provide training on new/existing functionality to keybusiness users, as well as end users.
• Monitor the performance of the Engineering Changeprocess.
• Define standards for Product and Bill of Materialdefinition.
• Generate reports, analyze data, and presentconclusions that give the team visibility on product releases, change statuses,and effective dates.
