PrincipalMMIC Design Engineer

Job Description:

• Designing ICs that comply with initial specifications, thorough simulations, managing the project to validation, supporting the manufacturing release and qualification.
• Working with customers, product management, product engineers, test engineers and applications engineering

Qualifications: 

• Deep knowledge of Analog PMIC design techniques, such asbandgap, LDO, charge pump, DC-DC converter, and temperature sensor, for bothlow voltage and high voltage applications.
• Experience in system and module design. Able to selectoff-the-shelf components such as regulator/filter/monitor/gate driver/logicgates to design biasing/control circuits for RF modules.
• RF knowledge and design experience in switches, attenuators,and phase shifters is a plus.
• Knowledge of behavior modeling, Verilog, microcontroller,FPGA coding is a plus.
• Familiarity with methods of thermal analysis.
• Expert knowledge of using Cadence for simulation and layout.Experience using ADS or Cadence for RF design is a plus.
• Ability to characterize products hands on in the lab whenrequired to meet project schedules
• Familiarity with project management and planning.Understanding of the product release and qualification processes.
• Support of applications engineering, technical sales, andproduct line management when required.
• Ability to support of a product through the entire productdevelopment and release cycle.
• Definition of specifications, development of test plans,working with technicians to execute characterization testing
• B.S. plus 12 years of engineering work experience
• M.S. plus 10 years of engineering work experience
• Ph.D. plus 6 years of engineering work experience
• Due to ITAR restrictions, candidate must be a US Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
