Responsibilities

To help us meet our mission LOTTE BIOLOGICS is in need of a Sr Manager, Accounting to oversee all general accounting activities including lead point of contact for monthly account reconciliations, month end closing, quarter end and year-end closing. This role is also responsible for fixed asset accounting including communications with associated project teams, invoicing, and lead for all accounting activities. Candidate must be a self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reviewing and approving month end journal entries.
• Oversee all general accounting activities including ownership of General Ledger
• Responsible for updating and submitting month end consolidation report.
• Develop and submit month end billing.
• Support FPA manager with budgeting and forecast efforts.
• Support treasury with cash flow and related items.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and follow up on required adjustments.
• Maintain accurate CIP records including reconciliations and associated depreciation schedules.
• Collaborate with LOTTE internal controls representative.
• Support and drive External and internal audit readiness.
• Ensure LOTTE Group compliance.
• Lead point of contact for external/internal audits.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for accounting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Support special projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/ Licenses/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related discipline. 
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience required.
• In the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in a accounting related role, where a number of years have proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, etc:

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions
• Excellent analytical skills and accuracy, attention to detail is a must.
• Prior experience with contracts, PO, AR and AP is a plus.
• Experience in the manufacturing or biopharma industry (CDMO) is a plus.
• Experience in managing others is a plus.

Physical Demands:

This position is an office-based position which involves sitting and walking within office space. Frequent repeated motions such as keyboarding are required.
