Internship Overview:

We are offering a paid, full-time (preferred), remote internship opportunity for Summer 2024 on our innovative Platform Development team. This unique AI-oriented Python Developer internship is designed for individuals passionate about leveraging AI to tackle exciting projects to automate parts of the book publishing workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI-driven automation projects using OpenAI, Google Gemini, and other technologies.
• Analyze and compare generative AI language models for project suitability.
• Work within a tech stack encompassing AWS, GCP, Django/Python, React/JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and more, in a nearly 100% open-source environment.
• Participate in our annual summer intern project, developing a cohesive plan to address current publishing-related challenges.

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Solid background in Python software development
• Exposure to AI APIs and libraries a plus.
• Ability to work within the New York time zone with a remote team.
• Passion for books and an appreciation for the publishing industry is a plus.

Internship Details:

• Duration: June 3, 2024, to August 23, 2024, with potential flexibility.
• Work up to 40 hours per week.
• Open to candidates over the age of 18, eligible to work in the U.S., and have graduated high school.
• $18/hour
