Contributions to the Crew

• Maintaining appearance of facilities and vessels
• Mix, match, and apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes
• Clean and prepare surfaces; scrape, strip, sand, grind, prime, or seal surfaces prior to painting
• Cover surfaces to ensure protection.
• Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knives.
• Erect scaffolding, movable and immovable staging and various rigging to gain access to difficult areas; use of ladders, move furniture and equipment as necessary
• Comply and maintain safety , report any issues immediately to your Manager

 Qualifications

• Must have current Driver's License and/or reliable transportation 
• Must be at least 18 years old 
• Proven experience as a painter 
• Must have an outstanding work ethic 
• The ability to work independently and with a team
• Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix, and apply them
• Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, rollers, sanders, caulking gun etc.) 
• Manual dexterity and balance to work on raised surfaces, scaffolding, ladders
• Good listening skill and ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers
• Ability to lift 60 Pounds, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb as needed
