Position title Warehouse Shipping Clerk Description **This will be a 3rd shift union position**. (*Candidate must be able to train on 1st shift and upon completion of training, move to 3rd shift. - Seeking reliable self-starter with excellent attendance history.*) Seeking a responsible, self-managed individual to fill this position. - Exceptional benefits package.
MackayMitchell operates on a 24 hour - 5 days/week schedule:
1st shift - 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
2nd shift - 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
3rd shift - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Sunday PM - Friday AM)
**Position will train on 1st shift for a period of time, and following completion of training, will move to 3rd shift.*
*$17.94/Hour $.95 Shift Differential*
Responsibilities
* Deliver raw materials to appropriate production departments
* Product labels
* Stack cartons at machines
* Move/deliver pallets; wrap and stage pallets
* Unload inbound trucks; verify product and quantity on delivery tickets
* Receive UPS and FedEx shipments; sort and deliver packages internally
* Receive PO's/process online
* Put away stock items; complete accurate forms
* Replenish materials and supplies; communicate supply needs to Purchasing Manager
* Check inventory counts and complete job receipts in online system
* Conduct floor counts at the completion of each job
* Cycle count all materials
* Accurately pull orders from warehouse and shipment staging area
* Load outbound trucks; validate Bills of Lading
* Process orders through the UPS computer
* Communicate with appropriate Account Managers regarding order detail, as needed
* Conduct general maintenance duties
* Assist in all areas of the shipping process
Qualifications
* Ability to lift 25 - 40 pounds on a regular basis
* Ability to work both independently and as a team
* Frequent bending and stooping
* Must become certified to drive a forklift
* Basic math and intermediate and computer skills required
* Good work record, attendance and safety habits
* Reliable, organized, detail-oriented and focused
* Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
* High School Diploma or GED
