Olson Environmental, an entity of MacKay Sposito, is seeking a few Landscaping Laborers to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outside and alongside a team while putting in a full day's work. This is a seasonal, labor intensive role that will be instrumental in providing support in the management of landscaping site maintenance. Opportunity to come on board full time after the summer season. 

Some of the equipment you will be using includes industrial mowers, brush cutters, hedger, and occasionally herbicide applicator equipment. Job sites may include uneven ground and steep slopes. You will be frequently bending and squatting during the day and carry loads of 30-40 pounds, up to the occasional 90 pounds. Work schedule is Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Assist in the installation of irrigation systems.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment.

 Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience with the safe operation of power tools such as lawn mowers, brush cutters, hedgers etc.
• Work both independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work long hours and overtime.
• Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.

The wage range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr depending on experience.
